Fundraising

The Rotary Club was one of the first service organizations founded in 1905 by Paul P. Harris, a Chicago attorney.  Today you can find Rotary Clubs all over the world. The Rotary Club of Belize Sunrise invites visitors to come and see what we are doing for the community at large and to join in the service above self and become a Rotarian.

The Rotary Club of Belize Sunrise began in 2007. Currently we have a diverse membership of about thirty vital and excited people eager to make positive changes to the world.  As our membership grows, we will be able to make an even greater contribution to a variety of challenging humanitarian projects.  That’s one of the reasons we have an open door policy, always inviting visitors to come and see what we do. And encouraging new members to join, adding their wealth of knowledge and leadership qualities to our membership.

Our club has members who engage in International and local community service, fundraising, networking and fellowship, all a part of being a participating Rotarian.  To carry on our service projects, we need funds. That is why we dedicate a great deal of energy to create events that, with the help of the public, generate the funds needed to accomplish our goal of helping our children and schools in education.

Intermagia Show 2015

One of our recent successful event was the 2015 International Magic Show, which helped us to raise funds which will be used to help on the Sebastaian Cabb After Shool Program, the St. John Vianney Remodelig Project, amongst others in the pipeline.

Intermagia

This is a magic show that is put together by the partnership of regional Rotary clubs in order to raise funds. Sales of entrance tickets help to raise funds as much of the time and resources are donated for the magic show.

BBQ Sales

Periodic BBQ sales are held, which not only bring the club members together but they are also asked to join to pool resources and to make this event a success.

$50K Grand Raffle

Yearly the Rotary Club of Belize| Sunrise holds a grand raffle of $50,000. The sales of each ticket helps to fund other service projects.

5 De Mayo Fundraiser

This is a social event whose tickets sales, help to raise funds for service projects.
