A friend to businesses who strive to create environments where people matter, a friend of the community where we are so grateful to serve and volunteer in any way we can and a friend who partners with others who have the same goal that we have… a world where everyone unites in friendship to create a better today and a promising brighter tomorrow.

Friends – there is that word again. It is at the heart of all we do and our friends are all around us, near and far. Celebrating diversity and fostering a love for community both locally and globally, the Rotary Club of Belize Sunrise prides itself on giving back to these very people. Together with the help of our esteemed members, dedicated supporters and caring volunteers – we work to serve where we are needed through humanitarian outreach to help those who are hurting or who just need a helping hand. In fact, you may have heard of a few of our projects such as the Port Loyola Library and the St. John Vianney Remodeling Project as well as other projects both big and small, each of which we find equally rewarding.
While at the very existence of the Rotary Club was and will always be about giving back, we know we can do none of these amazing things without the help of friends like you. Friendship is the foundation the Rotary Club was built upon, making everything we build as a team stronger and better. This is why we meet weekly to enjoy each others company, to laugh, to play and to foster community. We also host family outings, arrange visits from other organizations and clubs and even initiate new members in a fun but meaningful ways. And that is not all: we also plan family events and trips, making joining us a positive, lifelong experience you will never forget.
From giving back to taking in the way doing good makes you feel, the Rotary Club of Belize Sunrise will not only change THE World but YOUR World. We like to think that is a real win/win. We carry out service projects that enhance economic and community development and create opportunities for decent and productive work for young and old. We also strengthen local entrepreneurs and community leaders, particularly women, in impoverished communities.
