Playground Installation – Sandhill Village

A Play-Set was donated and shipped from Canada with the direct plan to install it in Sandhill Village.  Though Sandhill is well outside our area of focus, Southside of Belize City, the village had a Chairman and a resident determined to see a playground be put in between the village’s preschool and student library.   The shipping and installation was done in collaboration with the Rotary Clubs of Edmonton and Edmonton West and our local partner, Rotary Club of Belize.  The project took several days to complete and involved the work of local and Canadian Rotarians as well as volunteers from the local community in Sandhill.
